About Outsider Brands
Outsider Brands started the way most real car projects do — with a problem on my own car.
I'm Kyle. By day I work as a sales rep in the wholesale FMCG industry. Outside of that, I'm in the garage with a single Creality K1C 3D printer, obsessed with cars and how things get made. When I couldn't find a decent replacement door card clip for my own E36 without paying dealer prices or waiting weeks for an import, I printed one myself. Then I printed a spare for a mate. Then it turned into this.
Why ABS
Every part in the store is printed in ABS, not the cheaper PLA or resin you'll see from a lot of hobbyist sellers. ABS holds up to heat, impact, and the kind of daily abuse a car interior actually takes — not just a shelf. It costs more to print with and takes more dialing in to get right, but it's the difference between a part that lasts and one that cracks after a South African summer in a closed-up car.
Made to order, made in South Africa
Nothing sits on a shelf waiting to be sold. Every part is printed after you order it, which means no bulk imports, no container shipping, and no compromise on fitment — just parts made specifically for your platform, dispatched within 1–3 working days with tracking.
Where this is going
Right now Outsider Brands runs alongside a full-time job, one printer at a time. The goal is simple: build this into something that can stand on its own, one well-made part and one happy customer at a time. If something doesn't fit right or you're not sure it'll work for your car, message me before you order — I'd rather get it right than get a sale.
